Family Medicine

Family Medicine is the medical specialty which provides continuing and comprehensive health care for the individual and family. It is the specialty in breadth which integrates the biological, clinical, and behavioral sciences. The scope of family practice encompasses all ages, both sexes, each organ system, and every disease entity.

Geriatrics

This is an area of Family Medicine or Internal Medicine that includes additional training in the care of older patients, generally those 65 or above. The growing senior population has particular concerns that are of special interest to the geriatrician.

Women’s Health

This includes all aspects of a woman’s health without restriction by age or nature of the concern, such as: well woman exams, counseling, and all health and illness questions including those that are gender specific.

Pediatrics & Adolescents

We specialize in pediatric and adolescent yearly well-child exams, sports physicals, immunizations, obesity and exercise, and drug and sexually-transmitted disease counseling.

Sports Medicine

This is an aspect of Family Medicine that includes training in the care of athletes, athletic injuries, physical fitness, exercise, exercise related injuries, and rehabilitation.

In-Office Diagnostics

X-Ray – all usual x-rays for diagnostic and screening purposes.

Lab – Full spectrum lab for evaluation of the blood and bodily fluids for metabolic, chemical, or infectious abnormalities. Our lab is COLA accredited.

Cardiac – EKG, 24 hour Holter monitor, 30 day event monitor for the preliminary evaluation of acute and chronic cardiac issues
