Dr. Olga Duchicela

Olga Duchicela, M.D. is a board-certified family physician. She is a native of Ecuador and came to Weimar with her family in 1992. She completed her family medicine residency at The University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, TX in 1998, and then served as an Assistant Professor of Family Medicine at UTMB in Galveston and in Beaumont. Dr. Olga has two sons.

Dr. Jorge Duchicela

Jorge A. Duchicela, M.D. is a board-certified family physician. He received his medical degree from the University of Wisconsin at Madison in 1984. He completed his family medicine residency in 1989 at The University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, TX, and is currently an Associate Professor of Family Medicine at UTMB. He moved to Weimar in 1990. Dr. Duchicela is married, has three children, and seven grandchildren.

Abigayle Adamson, PA - C

Mrs. Adamson is a board-certified physician assistant working alongside Dr. Jorge Duchicela. She graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Allied Health from Texas A&M University. She continued her pursuit of excellence by earning her Physician Assistant degree from The University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston (UTMB). She was a student with our clinic in April of 2021. Mrs. Adamson is married and has one son.

Dr. Leah Mikesky

Leah Mikesky, M.D. is a board-certified family physician. She is a native of Schulenburg, Texas. After graduating from Schulenburg High School, her college career began at Florida State University before transferring to Rice University, where she completed a Bachelor of Arts with a major of kinesiology and sports medicine. She earned a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School and in May of 2024 completed internal medicine residency at Baylor University Medical Center (BUMC) in Dallas, Texas. Dr. Mikesky is married and has one son.

Dr. Rob Parrish

Rob Parrish, M.D. is retired neurosurgeon and a clinician of general medicine at our clinic. He completed a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry with a minor in Mathematics at Florida State University in 1971. He then moved to New York, where he pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Physical Chemistry at the State University of New York at Buffalo. Subsequently, he earned his medical degree from Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas, in 1981. Thereafter, Dr. Parrish spent a year at the University of Colorado as an intern in the surgical service before completing a residency training program in neurological surgery at the University of Pittsburgh. He is board-certified in neurological surgery and most recently obtained the Primary Care Internal Medicine Certification from the Harvard Institute of Medicine.

Dr. Estela Mota

Estela Mota, M.D. is a board-certified family physician. She received her medical degree from Universidad Central de Venezuela, located in Caracas, the capital city of Venezuela. She attended residency at the University of Texas Medical Branch, where she completed the Family Medicine-Rural Track program. During residency training, she lived in Weimar for two years and provided medical care locally and in surrounding rural cities. Dr. Mota is married and has two sons.
